Kaplaaki Oy focuses on the development, management, ownership and leasing of the vessels and equipment it owns, as well as expert services and repair yard operations.
Finnish Sea Service Oy works in close co-operation with the Kaplaaki, operating as a company and taking responsibility for project work. FSS largely uses the Kaplaaki’s equipment in addition to other rental equipment.
Kaplaaki and the Finnish Sea Service meet the requirements of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard. Certification includes the following functions; welding, diving, underwater work / marine construction, special transport at sea, special welding at sea, marine salvage, erection of wind turbines at sea, cable lying at sea, icebreaking, fairway maintenance work. The current certificate was issued on December 21, 2021. The certification has been valid since 1996.
